History

The roots of the Hunt companies trace back to the Hunt family settling in the Southwest.  An early Hunt generation followed the Santa Fe Trail from the Midwest and arrived by covered wagon in the Cimarron territory of New Mexico.  Subsequently, Marion Lewis (M.L.) Hunt, one of the sons of that generation, made his home in El Paso, Texas.
