Mr. Duda joined Hunt in 2016 to head Opportunistic Debt Investments. He previously was a Managing Director of Investments at One William Street Capital Management from 2008 until 2015. His responsibilities included active involvement in the acquisition, portfolio construction, and risk management of investments spanning multiple areas of real estate and asset based lending. Specifically, Mr. Duda ran credit trading for the residential mortgage portfolio and led new investment initiatives to purchase single family rental debt transactions and the credit risk transfer securities issued by Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac.
Prior to that, Mr. Duda structured and traded various real estate and asset backed securities at Bear Stearns & Co. including agency and non-agency mortgages, asset backed securities and CLOs/CDOs. A graduate of the University of Virginia, he holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Foreign Affairs.
