Sustainability
At Hunt, we are committed to environmental stewardship. Whether building
homes for the U.S. Department of Defense, commercial construction or
market-rate housing, we seek to implement green initiatives and products
into all of our projects.
Hunt considers Sustainability to be a responsible and common sense
approach to business. We apply Sustainability principles as not only the
right thing to do, but the smart thing to do. We believe it creates
long-term commercial value.
As a member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), Hunt maintains a
team of professionals who are Leadership in Energy & Environmental
Design (LEEDŽ) accredited, well-versed in achieving certification for
environmentally sustainable projects, and proficient with the USGBC's
LEEDŽ certification process.
