In 2014, Hunt integrated its construction business with Moss & Associates. Moss is a national privately held construction firm with $1.4 billion in construction backlog and more than $14 billion in construction value on completed projects.

Affordable Housing

Hunt partners with city and regional housing authorities across the U.S. to deliver affordable housing communities. Hunt is a leader in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) Program to create quality, sustainable housing communities. Hunt has completed 74 projects and more than 7,500 units with housing authorities in the past four decades.



In 2017 Hunt successfully closed on an agreement with Pennrose Properties, LLC to acquire a minority interest in the firm. Pennrose has expertise in multifamily affordable and mixed-use public private partnership development projects. Hunt and Pennrose together, including their affiliate companies, are responsible for more than 300 mixed-finance/mixed-income projects touching more than 40,000 units of housing across the U.S.


In 2017 Hunt closed on an agreement with Alden Torch Financial to acquire its syndication division, Alden Capital Partners. The renamed firm, Hunt Capital Partners, focuses on in the syndication of Federal and State Low-Income Housing, Historic and Solar Tax Credits. Hunt Capital Partners was an affiliate of Hunt from its inception 2010 until it was sold to create Alden Capital Partners in 2015. Hunt Capital Partners has raised over $1.35 billion in tax credit equity. The platform has 35 institutional investors and investments in 41 states, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
