COLUMBIA, SC (June 19, 2012) – CGL, the leading criminal justice facility services firm in the nation, has named Eli Gage as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Business Development Officer.
Mr. Gage, Founder and former President of Emlen Media, Inc., publishers of Correctional News, School Construction News, HealthCare Construction & Operations, and Green Building News, will be the new head of Business Development and Marketing for CGL. During his time at Emlen Media, Mr. Gage provided expertise in sales, marketing, website development, and information technology. He brings more than 30 years of experience serving the architecture, engineering, contractor, and facilities management communities.

Prior to founding Emlen Media in 1992, Mr. Gage was the national sales manager of Klober Plastic, Inc., where he was responsible for managing all aspects of the American-based subsidiary of Klober GMBH, a commercial plastics manufacturing company involved in the construction industry. He served as a board member of the Phoenix-based Durrant Foundation, targeting university students in need of financial assistance for studies in the areas of architecture and engineering. He recently served on the Board of CGL Facility Management prior to its acquisition. Mr. Gage is a member of the American Jail Association, the American Correctional Association, the Construction and Maintenance Institute for Criminal Justice Agencies, and the International Corrections and Prisons Association. Mr. Gage studied journalism and marketing at the University of Colorado and currently resides in San Francisco with his wife, Liz, and their two sons, Everett and Cooper.
