The El Paso Builder’s Association (EPAB) has recognized the Hunt Family Foundation with the 2012 John Schatzman Award, and Kathy Parry, Director of Builders Relations in Hunt’s Southwest Community Development division, the 2012 Outstanding Contribution Award. The awards were presented at the EPAB Annual Awards dinner on Thursday, December 06, 2012.
The John Schatzman Award is a special award honoring an organization that has made significant contributions to the El Paso community. “It is my honor to present this award to the Hunt Family Foundation for their continued commitment to El Paso by providing funds for scholarships, medical education, and other worthwhile endeavors,” said Ray Adauto, Executive Vice President of EPAB.
The Outstanding Contribution award is presented to EPAB members who are actively involved in organizational activities throughout the year. “We are honored to present Kathy with this award for her contributions to the association in 2012,” said Adauto. “She has been a stalwart member, giving of her time and energy, and positively representing Hunt and the EPAB at all times.” Parry also received the EPAB’s prestigious Pat Cox Award in 2011, Top Gun Member Award in 2004 and was President of the EPAB Women’s Council in 2006.
“It is an honor to win this award and to work for two such wonderful organizations” said Parry, who has been with Hunt for ten years and a member of the EPAB for 21 years.
